Hisbacq & Marie Quéau’s “Cadavre Exquis”.
The project was conceived during a 30-day period, as an exchange of references between Marjorie Munoz, Solange Caillon, and myself. Following a predetermined order (Solange - Marjorie - me), we established two fundamental rules : sending a project every day and ensuring each subsequent project was connected to the previous one in terms of color, style, technique or emotion.
Upon the end of these 30 days, we integrated them into an editorial publication. The layout was designed so that each double-page spread showed a distinct project, and the projects intentionally overlapped to create a harmonious blend and continuity of references. The poster, mirroring the publication’s pages, formed a cloud of references and inspirations.
To enhance the overall reading experience, we opted for a
Criss cross binding which allows the publication to open fully, offering a smoother navigation.
