The creation of Giraffine evolved from my experimental research in sign design. Prior to settling on « Giraffine »,
I explored various tools to experiment with different writing
and composing techniques.
The workshop’s main task was to craft a notice describing
our font, enabling fellow participants to recreate it based
on a shared understanding of this description. This process involved significant research and refinement to produce
a leaflet that would yield the desired result.
The final outcome is an A3 risography leaflet, which,
when unfolded, transforms into two typographic posters. These posters showcase the typeface and provide instructions for its creation.
